Wide Band RF Amplifier 100kHz-50GHz 16dB@40GHz +12dBm & Frequency Multiplier x3

Description

The Model MA-WA50 is a low noise wideband amplifier with
operating frequency range from
100kHz to 50GHz.
The
amplifier provides over
16dB gain
and
5dB Noise
figure
from
0.1 GHz to
40 GHz.
※NOTE
: Amplifier gain is reduced by
3dB
when operated at
a maximum output power.
The amplifier can be used as a
x3 frequency multiplier
(
trippler
)
with very flat frequency
response between
20 to 50 GHz.
The Frequency multiplier mode will extend a frequency range of
any signal generator with frequency range of 6.6GHz to 17GHz
by a factor of 3 up to 50 GHz thus increasing range of scalar
analyzer measurements without
an expense of acquiring a 20 to
50 GHz generator.

Amplifier can be turned into a x3 Frequency multiplier
by attaching a WR28(23-40GHz) or WR22(30-50GHz)
waveguide adaptor to the output connector.
The waveguide adaptor will
eliminate
low frequency
signal
component from the output signal while allowing a x3 multiple
of the input signal to pass.

Input signal requirements:

Level:  +5 to +8 dBm

Input frequency:  6.6-17 GHz.
The output will be at 3 times the input frequency with the
output power in the range of  -1dBm
to
+3dBm
